Amazing B.B. Cream from L’oreal.
Hi everyone! I’m so sorry for my long hiatus from blogging (not that anyone cares or even reads my blog). I’ve just been so busy running errands, packing, and getting ready to move. I can’t believe I’m moving to a new city in less than 2 weeks! It’s definitely bittersweet. I’ll miss Nashville like crazy… and it’ll be really weird living so far away from my family. Even though they drive me up the wall sometimes, I’m really going to miss them. *sad face*
Anyways, enough of my sappiness. What I’m really here to talk about today is an AMAZING new product I discovered at the drugstore the other day. I recently picked up the L’oreal Magic Skin Beautifier B.B. Cream…
Getting ready for bed, BB cream still on my face!

Being jetlagged isn’t all that bad… until you feel like you’re going to pass out in the middle of the day (it’s 7:50 PM and my eyes feel like iron curtains). However, I think I was more productive today/this morning than I have been in a very long time.
- went to CVS to pick up some drugstore makeup
- went to Fresh Market to get ingredients for my juice
- made my green juice and went to the gym
ALL before 10 AM rolled around. Being an early bird is great!!! I wish my body actually liked getting up this early everyday.
Anyway, after my very productive morning, I had to get ready to take some 2×2 photos, which are required for some of my dental school applications. Because I don’t usually like heavy foundation, most of my face makeup is comprised of BB creams or tinted moisturizers, which all contain SPF (sidenote: it is very important for young women to start using SPF on their faces!! Wrinkles and dark spots will start to appear soon, and it’s better to start preparing for these unwanted…things, for lack of a better word… in your early to mid twenties).
However, when you are planning to take a photo, such as a passport photo, driver’s license photo, or even photos on your wedding day, it is a good idea to stray away from products that contain SPF. This is because SPF tends to give your face a white cast, which is unfortunately highlighted on camera. So, while I was at CVS, I picked up the Revlon Colorstay for combination/oily skin in the color “Beige Natural.” I have heard many great things about this product, and one of my favorite beauty gurus on YouTube, missglamorazzi, always raves about this foundation. The price was also so much more affordable for a broke student like me, compared to higher end foundation products ($12.99… not bad, eh?).

Hey everyone! My name is Jena, and I am a recent college graduate who is figuring out how to take on the real, adult world. In an attempt to keep myself busier, while having a bit of fun, I decided to create a blog in order to share a glimpse of my life and the things I love doing with you all.
My current goal and dream is to one day become a successful dentist, who is able to help make this world a brighter and happier place. I also have a great passion for creating music, and I love singing, playing the piano, and recording music when I feel stressed or down. You can also catch me spending my free time searching make-up tutorials on YouTube or online shopping (guilty pleasures). Though I can be shy at first, I am quite a rambunctious 5’1 asian girl once you get to know me.
Thank you for stopping by, and please send me any questions or comments you may have!
